I'm studying VS2008, ASP.NET, I'm not a newbie.
I had to format my machine, and now I'm having some trouble when developing sites with VS2008, hosted in the IIS (I'm using XP with IE7 installed).
The problem arises when switching between projects developed in different locations, HTTP and File System.
If I create a site with HTTP location, start it, close it, switch to a File Sistem project, start it, close it, and then reopen the HTTP project, when starting it, I get the following error from the IE: "HTTP 403 Forbidden", meaning that Internet Explorer
was able to connect to the website, but it does not have permission to view the webpage.
It's the first time I get this error message, I have been creating pages in both the File System and HTTP (IIS), and I haven't received this error message before.
Can anybody help me here, please?
I don't know why my questions don't get published...

You may disabled the Directory Browsing in your site ,the website should have at least read/execute permission.
try to adjust the security settings.

I checked again, but this time I set the permission to write to on, it worked!. Is it secure to set writing permission to on?, if so, that's the solution!
