Sorry if I missed something, but is there a login for admin? I see the user in the Users table, but I can't find a password documented anywhere for this user. On the bright side, I am able to build and run the app with no issues so far. But I would like
to be able to get into the admin interface and create new products, etc..

The MVC storefront contains a table users, but that does not control access to the application, rather that is done by membership, and he maps the aspnet_Users table to the CommerceDB Users table, you can have a User in the CommerceDB that is not in the
aspnet_Users table, but that user will never be able to log in. The reason it is there at all is because as he was building it he wanted to demonstrate binding a linq data model to a data model that is different from linq. So what you need to do is use the
asp configuration tool and add a user named admin, set the password, and the role. Now when you log in, he will match the userid in the aspnet_Users table to the table in the CommerceDB and you will see the pages. Let me know if that doesn't make a lot of
sense to you, i can try to explain it better.

Thanks for the reply Chris. I tried what you suggested, but every time I try to create a user I get this: "An error was encountered. Please return to the previous page and try again."
I did have to run aspnet_regsql to get the data structure in place in CommerceDB. The I tried changing the connection string from LocalSqlServer (which doesn't appear to be defined in web.config) to Commerce_MVCConnectionString, but it doesn't help. Not
sure how to proceed beyond this. I was able to create an Admin role, but just can't create a user...

can you send me your web.config section dealing with the membership and role providers. I have worked with the mvc storefront a good bit, but no longer have it setup. If needed i can DL and install it again, and send you the detailed steps. I should be
able to help you though with just the web.config sections in question.
