Hello, So going round and round on an issue... in point
but this is the short here... What are the minimum settings needed to run an asp script such as what is in the post above... The admin of the server doesn't know... and well I have to get scripts to work so I thought someone could tell me what processes or
files or what ever is need to have permissions to in order to run...
The admin has that server holding documents that he doesn't want to have other see... and needs to have it locked down tight... but the problem is that my user can run the scripts and the other users can't... he doesn't know what to do... and I'm not the admin...
Any help here would be great... thank you...thank you...thank you...

The minimum setting is that when you install ASP.NET and configure IIS for ASP.NET on that site, you've done all you need. I doubt your problem has anything to do with security, the posts you mention are sending email and none of the errors mentioned are
security related. To send email you must have an email server. If it is not installed on the same server, you need access to it. There may be a login account and password, there may not, the mail server admin can tell you that. Otherwise, see:
Forget CDO and CDOSYS as well as CDONTS, you won't deal with them, even though the posts you reference mentioned them.
If you have an error, post YOUR error, not someone else's. And post the relevant error logs, SMTP logs and code you used.
