I have a report with ( just ) some textboxes and my report shows a list af persons data , like Name , family , age and etc
for the first person , informations shows correctly in their place ( also I add a invisible table for break page with a filed , on end of page )
in second page I can not see the second person information ,
the trueth is that a textbox cannot repeat with page , I try to repeat the textboxes with the invisible table ( as a region ) and nothing repeat becouse the table never repeat ( the table just grouped in each page ) and also I try to use a LIST control for
my datas , every thing looks good but my labels ( before the textboxes that shows the describe of textbox field ( like firstname)) never repeat on the second page
also just one of my lists repeated on second page ,
also I try the Table as my report Item that's like a terrible !!! nothing shows correctly ,
I want to know that is there a solution for repeating a textbox in each page on SSRS 2005 or SSRS 2008 ?
I use ssrs 2005 and want to change it with ssrs 2008 ( but i'm still using 2005 )

If you display the data using a table, you can add the describe of the textbox filed in the table header. To repeat the table header on each page, set the RepeatOnNewPage property of the table header row as true.

hey , Jian
I do this , I Remove all of my textbox and recplace them with Table ( header ) and bind my fields to their values , on the end of the page I place a table with a group ( and a break after the group )
but on the other pages I only saw the group field and all another fileds ( tables ) didn't repeat , I also change my SSRS from 2005 to 2008 and my problem did'nt solved . in
Tablix Properties in SSRS2008 I checked the Repeat header rows on each page and also check the
Repeat header Columns on each page .
in my report in breaked page only the grouped section stiil visible and all another tablix ( neither table header , nor table rows ) never shown .
what should I do now ? I think I forgot somthing , what's that ?

If u r using some textboxes with table, add all these controls to list and add the group value of the list as person name and include the page break end of the table.
For Ex: if u r displayilng person name, family etc. in textboxes and below u r displaying some information about that person in table, for each person details textboxes will be repeated.
Let me know the result.

the way solve problem using list is not perfect. I just meet same question today and found out you guys discuss at here.
Now I solved my problem by the other way.
Use list I can only show textbox at the top based on group . for example, if I have group called department, and one of department is science , the textbox info is going to show at the top when the science info is going to list, but if the science info continued
on second page, then the textbox is not going to show up on this second page, it's only going to show when next department start. for example , Art is start then the textbox is show on top of it and same it is not going to continue show textbox on next page
I used the other way to solve this problem. If you want to show some text or info every page, then you really need to put something in the table header
to achieve that, insert a new row in header, put a Rectangle from toolbox into a table cell in table header, now you will find out the background just change as same as the body, take a textbox from toolbox and put in the rectangle, ok by this way the info
in textbox is going to show up in every page in SQL report
one thing need to make sure, both those textboxes and table not related to list, so never use list for this case. I solved my problem by this way. Hope any one who is looking for solution for this get a luck.

Your method works only if the report has 1 table. What if the report has multiple tables? How does the textboxes repeat on each page if the table # 1 or 2 continues to the next page. Using SSRS 2005.

He Angelinebottle.. Did you find a solution to this issue.. I am having exactly the same requirement.. I have to repeat a growable text data.. I also have a tablix which repeats on new page.. tablix is working as expected but my text data above it does not
repeat.. I cannot add this in the header as headers don't increase the size when exported to PDF.. So I had to move it in the body area inside a new Tablix header and set it to repeat on every page but as i said it does not repeat in every page.. Can someone
please point me to the right direction.. I am a bit stuck and have a deadline pretty soon..
