I have HMC 4.0 runnign smootly for some time now but a few days ago i updated microsoft security updates only to the frontend computers and now i have this realy strange feedback from only about 100 customers that they get time-outs and they can't get much
done with outlook 2007... For most of our customers it works and all that have outlook 2003 or use webmail have no problem. As for now i've been doing lots of exchange performance tests and they all have reported nothing special. Are there any out there experiancing
the same? Meaning only few having problems while most are satisfied. If any of you have any ideas about this then please help me.... i'm out of options at this point. If you need any more info about the system please ask for it and i will post as much as i

we had sproadic errors ("Outlook is trying to connect to...") because of scalable network package - don't know what patches you installed, but maybe it was activated by them. Disabling TCP/IP Checksum Offloading and TCP Chimney helped.

Tried it and hasn't helped. Now it seems that configuring new mailbox with autodiscover is not working. Seems that it gets some of the settings but when trying to connect to the mailbox server it times out or give a message saying Unable to connect do you
want to try unsecure connetion. So it gets something cause otherwise it wouldn't know the name of the mailbox server.
Has anyone got any more ideas or have had similar problems?

Got it resolved. Had something to do with rpc requests not getting trough to our AD-server. Nothing to do with hmc.
