First up Rob, your entire series to date, has been instrumental to teaching me ASP.NET MVC. Simple as that. Yeah, there's (other internet) posts and stuff, but they are all disjointed IMO because it's so hard to relate them to anything real-world. The work
you have done in the vid's have highlighted the following stuff (which i think is so ninja-supa-flippy-flip-stompin)
Now .. i've used most of these over the last number of years (where applicable). But the trick to what you've done here Rob is how u've implimented them all together in a solution which is easy to learn from. That's what i find so exciting! For example: I've
been using interfaces for ages, but haven't really grasped the usefullness of them .. or proper use of them. All my friends have been mocking me (pun intended) to get into TDD, interface programming DI and mock (as they are all interwinded). I can now see
clearly how this is and why!
I loved how you've introduced us all to AsQueriable() for DAL and how services nicely act as the new BAL layer (but are different, still, to the old BAL layer concept).
It's all about how you've pieced together various technologies that we've all been using in some or full part, over the last few years, into one MVC project.
This is the future and I so excited!
Thanks Rob, you're work is awesome and i think the community really needs to say thanks and keep it up and .. yeah ... MS are lucky to have you wearing the Blue Badge. As such, we're lucky.
(of course, this also means the MVC team is awesome, but that's a different thread).

You have done a great work. The application architecture is a blend of theory and pragmatic way [cool].
Thanks a lot.
