Right now the pages/applications running in a server with asp.net 1.1 framework are all running ok.
Is there any potential adverse effect if this server is upgraded to have an asp.net 3.5 framework?
Will those applications still work as before? Is asp.net 3.5 compatible with those old applications?
Thanks for any advice.

Hi Ken, thanks for your reply.
Do you mean when the server is upgraded from .net1.1 to .net3.5, I will not have to do anything to make the present applications to work? As this pages/applications were written for .net1.1
Does it mean that the new pages/applications that I will be building must point/gear specifically to .net3.5?
When you say "asp.net 1.1 and 2.0 web sites can not be in the same app pool", what do you mean by that?
Again many thanks Ken
