I am having trouble getting logged onto my database on Godaddy.com. One can view the error message at
My connection string from my web.config is as follows:
Trusted_Connection=False" providerName="System.Data.SqlClient" />
<network host="yourSMTPhostname" port="25" defaultCredentials="true" userName="enterUserNameHereIfRequired" password="enterPasswordIfRequired"/>
I am positive my connection string is correct as I called Godaddy to confirm this.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

acording to godady "Databases on our shared hosting accounts do not have the ability to add users or roles to them. Please also keep in mind that our shared plans run on a Medium trust level"
by default the .net site is trying to find your database in the local filesystem in this case would be the app_data subfolder under the wwwroot directory.
add these two lines to your web.config file
User ID=fcs2008; ........

The classifieds kit is designed for two databases.
To get to run properly you should have opted for the deluxe plan that gives you two MSSQL databases.
Here's a sample of my connection strings to connect to godaddy.
Note the two strings, the first connects to the classifieds data, and the second to the members data.
That's why yours won't connect.
If you need more help, I have gone through it in detail several times.
Just do an advanced search for my post with godaddy as the search phrase in the classifieds forum.

How do I create the aspnet_db? I don't see a script to do this in the starter kit? When I name the data bases on Godaddy.com do I use the same names as they are locally?

GoDaddy makes it easy to create the asp members database.
It's automatically done at creation of a new database, filled with stored procedures and all.
The only anoying thing about that is that when creating the database for the classifieds kit, you would have to delete all the extra tables, views, and stored procedures.
And then load your .sql for the classifieds.
One more thought, did you get the final version of the classifieds kit?
I've sent it to so many people I'm not sure if you got it or not?
If you need the final version, not beta, send me a personal message with your email address.
