Hi, this is my situation.
I created a web application with VS 2005. It has been working fine on Windows XP. I moved it to Windows Vista and it runs until the default.htm that has links to aspx pages, then when I click a link an error of 'The page cannot be displayed'.
Again it has been working fine on XP. Is it because of the new version of IIS? What do I have to do?

At the least you have to install and configure ASP.NET, which does not install by default in IIS 7. See
www.iis.net for help in configuring IIS on Vista. Same login as here works there.

Or a specific link on configuration of IIS7?
Our sister site, www.iis.net, is for IIS support. Same login and password as here.

Try registering ASP.NET with IIS on VISTA. Make sure you have .NET 2.0 installed.
1. Open Command Prompt (Start > Run > cmd)
2. Run the following command (wo/ quotes): "%windir%\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\aspnet_regiis.exe -i"
