You could rewrite your windows application to web application and to use task scheduler to execute (most ASP.NET shared hosts provide schedule tasks).

I'm actually using lame.exe (audio encoder). It's open source, but its far too complicated for my little head to convert and the almost total lack of documentation doesn't help. I would love to rewrite it into a class that could be instantiated and called
from inside my app, but it's just too much work. I thought about using the lame_enc.dll as I've found some wrappers out there, but it looks like it will only perform a subset of the operations of lame.exe and I'm 99% sure that I can't use an unmanaged .dll
in a shared environment to begin with. I've got to figure out a way to run the .exe, I just don't see another feasible way.

I don't think many hosts would allow you to install this on their server. You probably need to go w/ some type of VPS or dedicated server option.
