Hi, could anyone please point me in the right direction for a good hosting company based in the UK?
I'd like .net and database access, and be able to setup up multiple sites from the same webspace.
Thanks in advance

As per your requirements to have Access database, .NET site and ability to setup multiple sites on one account, you may try to have a look at
ASPHostCentral.com. You can always start with the cheapest $4.99/month package.
What is really disappointing here is that you are looking for a UK-based company, while asphostcentral is based in US. Is there any specific reason for it? Is that simply because you are concerned with the server's speed?

http://www.hostingfest.com/ is another good one. It starts out at $1.99.

hosting fest packages are very interesting. However, I have with asphostcentral.com for several months and I would not mind to pay a little bit more for a quality service. If you are looking for a UK-based company, you may have a look at fasthosts.co.uk.
hope this helps.

Thanks for all the replies.
I've been thinking about using streamline.net and their bulk package:
I''ve used them in the past for smaller sites and they seem reliable, what do you guys think?

What type of sites do you plan to host?

I don't know about streamline.net, but if you have prior experience with them and it's been good for you and the price is OK, I'd go with it.

IXwebhosting.com is the best webhosting. It is the cheapest as well will unlimited everything. You will remember somebody has recommended you a .net webhosting company. My personal two websites are on this server.

Would you mind to list down more of your critieria for the .net hosting plan that you wanted? Such as budget and what type of MS SQL database?
You can try to look at the hosting plan provided at
http://www.seekdotnet.com , they provided .net hosting plans that support mssql 2005 and mssql 2008 database. :)
do you prefer asp.net 3.5 hosting plan as well?
