We were running 1.1 on our box. I installed 2.0 framework along with SP1, and still no referance to it in the start menu or even when I wrote a script to tell me what version I was running. It still says 1.1
I'm lost, any and all help would rock.

how/where did you write the script?
Did you use one of the Visual Studio 2005 products? (or 2008 products)?
You can't use VS2002/2003 to develop 2.0 apps.

I used VWD Express 2008 to develope the app.
The script was a simple one liner "Response.Write(System.Environment.Version.ToString())"
Server is Windows Server 2005
I see the 2.0 installed on the box under the Windows.NET folder (along with the prior version). I figured 2008 developed app will not run on 1.1 framework, so that is why I am trying to move it to 2.0

couple things to check:
- in the IIS manager, for the site...there is a Drop Down in the Asp.Net tab. Set that for 2.0
- run "aspnet_regiis -i" from your asp.net framework folder (typicall in c:\windows\microsoft.net\framework\v2.x\)
- check the Project Properties in your app...there is an Advanced setting to set the target framework.
