This is just an idea I had doing several FieldTemplates on my blog, I thought UIHint could possibly handle things a bit differently than just set the FieldTemplate
e.g. [UIHint(Normal="Children", Edit="GridView_Edit", Insert="Children_Edit")]
This way when there is already a FieldTemplate that does the Normal job then you would'nt have to make a new version.
Hope this is the sort of thing you are looking for for the Futures [:D]

Thanks for the suggestion. Note that this is something you could currently do by writing a custom FieldTemplateFactory where there is a method you can override to provide the field templates for the various modes. You could create a new attribute (or derive
from UIHint) that would be used by this method to figure out which template to use in which mode. We'll look into adding this to Futures.
