I have a website that uses membership authentication and was made using VWD2008 express. The site works just fine and has been online now for almost a year or so. Then I decided to use membership authentication. (Seemed pretty straight forward! And works
like a charm.)
However when I upload everything to my "production server and try to use the
asp.net config tool to see who my users are" it says that it cannot connect "remotely". And I tried to set up a remote connection to my server using the above tool many times, (but because I use the express edition of VWD) I think that this
is the reason why it won't.
I know that many users are registering on my site, but so far I cannot find a suitable way to view them. Is there perhaps another tool like the asp.net configuration tool that I can use with the express edition of VWD2008??? To see who my users are online?
My production server is Microsoft SQL Server 2005 through my hosting provider.
Does anyone know something I can do here, so that I can view what members I have.

The admin tool is not meant to be used on a remote server. You can write your own user management utility or search Google or CodePlex for one that's already written.

Hi Jeff, and thanks whole-heartedly for your reply.
You wouldn't know where would you?

Peter Kellner used to have one, but I can't find it on his web site now. Try
