How do we know that the CssFriendly is working? I mean the CssClass can be set for the menu control items for example without using CssFriendly.
Is there any thing should be installed on the hosting server to make CssFriendly working like Ajax?

To see if CssFriendly is working, view your page's source code from the browser. In the case of the menu control, it should be rendered as a list rather than a table.

Please see the implementation part of
http://www.codeplex.com/cssfriendly where it tells you to download the code, compile and add a reference to the dll. That's all you need. Nothing needs to change in the server.
