If you're using Internet Explorer, you can right-click over a GridView (for example) and one of the options you have is 'Export to Microsoft Excel'.
In a Dynamic Data page nothing is exported [*-)] (in 'normal' ASP.NET pages, the data inside the GridView is exported).
Is it possible to export data in the DynamicData pages?
Your help is welcome.

Thanks for your reply.
I'm using Excel 2007, too.
In a regular Dynamic Data Website it works fine, but in a site with Permissions it doesn't. The Excel gives a message like "No data...".

Hi António, I've just tried it with the Permissions system and it works OK.
What I did was from Excel click the Data tab, click
From Web and then pase in the URL from the login page, login and then proceed to the page I wanted and then selected it and the data came in OK [:D]
Hope this helps you António.

Is this feature censed to work on IE6 ? Because when I click on "export to Microsoft excel", nothing happens.
What do you suggest to add excel export feature to my list.aspx dynamicData page ? Create a linkButton?, ...?

Works fine with IE7 and IE8
You don't need to export from the page you just access the page from excel see my earlier post.

Yes I saw it but it's not the best way for me, because users will ignore they can do it like that :p
Whatever, it's not very important.
