I have 300 Word documents and I need to somehow parse through them all, extract text and build a CSV file of the data, with one line for each Word doc. The docs are resumes and they all have the same headings followed by the text that needs to be pulled.
I am not sure of the right approach to get this accomplished. Should I first apply an XML schema to the Word doc, convert it to XML, and then export it to a text file? Is there a way to do this easily using the Word Object Model? The eventual goal is to
get this data into a SQL Server database, so is there a way to do this directly? I am a C# newbie. Thanks.
