I have installed the 3.5 service pack beta so I could start experimenting with the new features (dynamic data, data services aka astoria, etc.) but I don't think the installation worked properly.
While going through the Quick Start for ADO.net Data Services I received an error saying that
MicrosoftAjaxDataService.js could not be found. I did some searching and found
out that I needed to reference System.Web.Extensions 3.6 in my web.config. The problem with that is I don't have that library anywhere on my computer so I get compilation errors. I then tried to repair the install and still no luck.
Has anyone run into this problem and/or know how to resolve?
Thanks in advance!

Forget about VS 2008 SP1 Beta. It is crap.
Use this one instead "ASP.NET 3.5 Extensions Preview"
Unfortunately there is no way to uninstall SP1 Beta, but when the final bits are delivered you can just override the beta.
Untill then, just use VPC.
