We have a asp.net 1.1 application, and I use VS 2003 as its IDE. All of a sudden, from last week, visual studio has been taking an extremely long time to open the project. It connects to the local webserver OK, I can see the files listed in the solution
explorer, but after that it just hangs for at least 15 minutes before starting.
I've tried repairing the installation, but it hasn't made any difference. My colleague is also working on the same project using VS2003 and this hasn't happened to his installation.
Any ideas about what I could try to fix this?

The site that originally hosted VSTweak (which I need in order to use the fix) - ondotnet - no longer exists, and I can't seem to find a copy of anywhere else.
I keep ending up at
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/vstudio/aa718340.aspx (Power toys for visual studio) but I can't find anything like VSTweak there.
Any idea where I could get it from?

To better understand your issue, please confirm the following information:
If we load another solution from Visual Studio, does it have the same issue? Did you install the Visual Studio .NET 2003 Service Pack 1 on your machine? If not, please try to install it from
If you open this solution without connecting with internet, does it have the same issue? If so, you can try to clean out the VS MRU locations from registry. For more information, see
If this doesn’t help you, please feel free to let me know.
I hope this helps.
