See I have a project that I need to be able to print a labels and I was given a lot of older label printers and the development kits that the company (Seiko) has for them are only in C++ and VB. These examples in VB are from an older version of vb from about
the year 2000? So I was thinking I could just write a little exe that could be called and passed the parameters from my asp.net web app. Any help or links to help is appreciated. Or if I can simply convert this older vb into something I can just drop into
asp.net then I would like to know how to do that too.

You could do this using the System.Diagnostics.Process
You could also check this link. http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;555134

just upgrade your older version to newer version .After upgradtion see that erros =0.Then test and apply.
If a working code is upgraded it is easy to maintain than from a scrap.

I suggest you re-write the heritage code into vb.net as a winforms application as it will need direct access to the printer. Executing such an application from an ASP.NET page requires giving the ASPNET local administrator priviledge - this is _very_ unwise.
