That's my problem:
I developed a aspnet application in my machine.
I want to install this app in a web server (server in my network).
We have a domain installed [abc.org]. I created a subdomain on DNS server [ti.abc.org] and a new Web Site on IIS [portal ti] and linked each other.
Now I need to install my web app into this web server, but using a subdomain [ti.abc.org].
I can't define which subdomain I want to install. It always install in a main domain [abc.org] as a virtual directory.
So, how can I install my web app using a subdomain?
Thanks a lot.

Are you creating a web application? Or are you using FTP (or other method) and transferring files to the correct folder?

I am using a setup to deploy the application.
I have my solution with a project (application) and a Web Setup Project.
So, when the solution is built, a .msi file is created (Release Folder of Web Setup Project). Then a .msi file is executed (server) to install the app.
But there's no option to install in another subdomain.
Thanks again, Jeff.

I know that is possible just copy the content files to web server folder.
Using FTP or XCopy. But we used to install the web applications, for better control.
We used to install in a Virtual Directory (without subdomains), but we concerned that it's necessary to use subdomains, because we are developing big projects now.
I hope it helps.

Then you have to configure your web setup roject correctly. I'm moving this to the Web Setup forum for a better response.
