Greetings All - newbie here so be kind :)
1st: Is this the correct forum for questions regarding the WM Emulator(s) ?
I need to increase the internal storage of a WM6 Emulator to beyond 32mb. From the settings available, I see that you can increase the memory size to a maximum of 256. This does in-fact increase RAM but still only 32 Meg of storage memory. Does anyone know
how to increase this setting? Anyone know if the WM (Internal Registry) has a setting for this?
I see this problem with both Version 2, and the latest Version 3 emulators from MS. I'm using the WM Professional ROM for a 320x240 screen.
I know that someone will say to use a shared folder for storage - this for whatever reason, does not work for my Satellite forms application, I get an Error 18. The Satellite forms vendor suggested I seek help from MS - stating that he suspects that the
Emulator is running out of internal memory - frankly I doubt this since I've increased the RAM to it's max of 256 yeilding over 200mb of ram. The applications does by-the-way run fine on an IPAQ PDA, and even runs Ok -although slower- from a memory card installed
in the IPAQ.
