I have VS.NET 2003 installed on my machine. My concern is when I try to create a new ASP.NET page, I get the error as :
"Visual Studio.NET cannot create or open the application. The likeliest problem is that required components are not installed on the Local web server. Run Visual Studio.NET setup and add the Web development component."
Can anyone tell me how to do the above thing or any other necessary steps to be followed ??
Thanks in advance...

Is the problem on a personal computer (desktop or laptop) or is it on a server, such as a server with Windows Server 2003?
To do the above on a Server with Windows Server 2003, we had to do the following:
1) Click on Start (lower left corner)
2) Choose Control Panel
3) Choose Add or Remove Programs
4) Choose Add/Remove Windows Components
5) Put a check in the box for Application Server (this was uninstalled component that we needed to install, and it was necessary to have the Windows Server 2003 CD in the computer to complete the install).
It took a little more work after this to get it running. If you try the above, and you get to step 5 and find an unchecked box and you check it, let me know you've reached that point and I can tell you what we did next.
