When the Session LCID is set to Greek, 1032, the decimal point is formated as a comma. When the user entered 32.14, it was interpreted as 3214. When the user entered 32,14, it was interpreted as a decimal value. But the biggest problem was the databse threw
an error when 32,14 was inserted into the database where parameter was not used for database update. I was concatenating the variables into an insert statement like
insert into tableA (coumnA, columnB) values ('A', 32,14)
With comma in the numerical value, it appeared to SQL Server there were more values than the corresponding columns and an error resulted.
How can the problem be resolved?
