Hi there, I was experimenting with Queued Components and I got this situation:
When I wrote the Client as a Windows Application, everything worked fine. Here is the code:
Label1.Text = "OK"
Label1.Text = "Caught Exception: " & ex.Message.ToString()
Now, if copy and paste this same code into a Web Applcation, I get this error:
Specified cast is not valid.
The line that is throwing the error is this one:
Why is that working on Windows and not on Web ?

I found this
"The following cast statements caused the InvalidCastException:
This occurs because a mismatch exists between the type and the expression,
which happens when the push/update process didn't complete well and
results in an in-doubt state. To resolve the problem, you need to drop the
components and add into COM+ again."
But it doesn't make sense to me...
This means that when you register a component on COM+, there is a chance it can be on a
in-doubt state ?
All I'm asking for is to access a Queued Component Asynchronously by a Web Application client.
Is that too much to ask?
