I'm a newbie programmer. I have a .cs file I need to modify.
The code includes the following using statements at the top:
using ES.ServerControls; ...
How do I find out what ES refers to?
I would like to see the classes it contains - how can I do that?
Where would this ES component be located in my project?
I'm pretty clueles when it comes to assemblies, DLLs, namespaces, etc. Just learning about all this....

in the /bin subfolder, do you see there something like ES.dll? If so you could use .NET reflector to see whats in it. Another way's to take a look at the Class View pane in Visual Studio.
