OK ... to answer my own post ... I added the .mvc mapping to aspnet_isapi.dll and things work as expected. [:D]
I'm having a little trouble getting an MVC-enabled app running under IIS (both XP and 2003 Server). The basic template project that is initially created works fine when running in the IDE, but fails to run under IIS. It seems as though the URL mapping
(RouteTable) is not happening -- I get 404 errors for URLs that specify actions and views. I've read posts where folks say it's working fine ... any special steps that need to happen? I've tried on machines both with/without the extensions installed, with
the system.web.extensions.dll in the bin, etc. .NET 3.5 is installed in all cases. Thoughts anyone?
