When I try to install the full redistributable .net 3.5 package (200mb) it tries to download a 20mb update. It of course fails to download the update because my server doesn't have access to the internet for obvious security reasons. Is Microsoft stupid?
What is setup trying to download?[:@]

Installing .Net Framework 3.5 will install .net framework 2.0 sp1 and .net framework 3.0 sp1. I would have thought they would have been in the full redist.

Your right. The setup does contain 2.0 SP1, 3.0 SP1 and 3.5. That's why I'm trying to figure out what it's trying to download. I can't believe nobody else had this problem.
I'm simply installing .NET 3.5 full dist on a 2003 server box.

Can anyone help me with this. Why would a full package try to download an update?
