What do you need the third party controls for (other than using excess budget) ?
There are also some very specialised supplied such as GreenTree (spellchecker) and IPComponents)
Both telerik and Component One produce an excellent range of controls - have you tried installing an eval?
If you go down the third-party route:

I have used Infragistics and they are well worth considering.
I suggest you create new threads along the lines of "Feedback requested from users of Infragistic suite" for each of the vendors.
However, you should carefully consider how good a given package will be you along the following lines:
For a spell-checker I can only only recommend
winterTree from http://www.wintertree-software.com/dev/spellingserver/index.html. This one is particularly good because of the availability of dictionaries in different languages and the ease of adding custom dictionaries. Thus you can add words to a custom
dictionary to be used with the main dictionary to cover specialist terms.
For a grid-control I would look for efficient paging through SQL server or I would just roll my own.
Remember than there will still be cases where it is better to roll your own. I once wrote a specialist control to display Gas usage that was very much easier to program (a 1-line call to populate data instead of 12+) than if I had used a conventional graph

May I suggest my own work:
Peter's Data Entry Suite? It is built around data entry web forms, handling issues like validation, textboxes, and security. In most cases, it complements the suites.

I use Telerik RAD controls on my site and I love it.
The editor is great, and i they all have an AJAX update control allowing everything to be async.
You can get more information about Telerik here:
Alternatively you can take a look at the other menu controls available for ASP.Net here:
