Does somebody know if it will be possible to upgrade a webserver with Windows 2003 Server OS to Windows 2008 Server (I want to use IIS 7.0).
The same question for SQL Server 2005 Express Edition... Can I upgrade this to SQL Server 2008 Express Edition when it is available? (in 39 days)...
Thank you for helping me!

Thank you for the links!
Next week I have to install my new webserver and I don't know what OS I should choose. Later on I definitly want to use Windows Server 2008 with SQL Server 2008.
What would be better for me? To upgrade later from Windows 2003 Server or from Windows Server 2008 RC1?

Well, I know the forum on iis.net but I think it is a very general question if upgrading from a BETA-Version is easier or more difficult than upgrading from the original former windows version.

It is a very general question. Just has nothing to do with ASP.NET, which are the forums you're posting in.
And neither is easier than the other, except that Beta/RC software may change options on you. You have about a month until ship, why not simply wait?

Agreed, I would wait until full blown 2008 is out. I would also just wait until you have a new server (OS) in place before upgrading your SQL server. No sense in upgrading to wipe and redo soon.
