I am an IT consultant w/ over 20 years of C level experience. I actively write code as well. I'm now forming a virtual team of ASP.NET/C# developers and SQL Server programmers for my clients' projects. Though I cannot guarantee continuous work, I intend
to work with those in my team on a regular basis.
My role will be my clients' outsourced CIO and Software Architect. I will be hands on both on the development side as well as project management. Team members' locations are not important for as long as we are able to both work and communicate via the Internet
i.e. email, IM, remote help, etc. I will require telephone conversations time to time which I will initiate.
It is absolutely imperative that I test the skills of my team members before I accept them into my team. The tests will be in the following form:
I will give the potential team member a database and ask him/her to create tables and all necessary relationships as well as a few stored procedures, views and functions. I will then ask him/her to create some upper tier objects as well as some front-end
pages. I'm not looking for pretty designs. I want to gauge the person's ability to understand and implement n-tier applications written in ASP.NET/C# under very strict guidelines.
Those who are interested in joining my team, please email me your resumes and your hourly rates to my email at
sam@iQuestLLC.com and please put "Virtual Team" in the subject line.
You can also visit my website at www.iQuestLLC.com to get more information about my background.
