hi all, thanks in advance for taking time,
i want to open a web hosting provider company in near future , so i was looking to gather resources and information regarding a webhosting company , what are the requirements and what kind of resource will be required to open hosting provider company and
so on .......
i have asked before also but response was not great though they were helpful.....if anyone of you can supply me with an adeqate knowledge , it will be great help .........

There are investments in hardware, software, internet connections, people (admins, support, sales etc...). You could try first to become a hosting reseller and if the business grows to build your own company.

Yes I agree with the others, first you should become a reseller and learn the in and outs of the business. Theory is something and practical experience is different. Becoming a reseller will give you an indepth knowledge of the industry, like which control
panel to use, which technology is supported on which type of server. Like you can run both PHP and .Net on a Windows server but typically a Linux server will not support .Net. Then you also need to be familiar with most the terminology that is used in the
web hosting industry, like POP3, bandwidth, domain, dns, nameservers, etc.
One obvious benefit of becoming a reseller is that all this technical details are handled by your service provider and you learn as you progress your business.
