I've just started using VS 2005. I've downloaded the small business starter kit. I've opened it up as a new web site , but when I select the save all opion to save the project I'm unable to as a message advises me that this operation is unavailable.
Can somebody please advise me on what I must do.

Give write permission on project folder.

How would I change the write permission?

I have checked the write permissions for the relevant folder, and they are enabled. Are there any step by step instructions with regards to installing and editing this starter kit?

When I select the new website option from the file menu, I select the small business starter kit from the template list. When the starter kit loads up the save button is greyed out and if I select save all the message "the operation could not be completed"

I had the same problem and someone posted on Microsoft that it is usually because there is a mix of c# with vb or vb with c# in the code. Secondarily it is a kind of known issue for some of the newer starter kits even if there is no mixed code.
The way I save those is by going to each page that is not saved but modified is save on a singular basis. (just click the save file not save all)
With the small business kit without a lot of added on pages its just a known inconvenience.
