Technical and administrative support services primarily at the FBI Data Center, as well as several temporary travel assignments for data recovery exercises annually.
Work performed at Federal Bureau of Investigation Headquarters or at a Federal Bureau of Investigation approved off-site, with the exception of end user training, and will be in compliance with applicable FBI Headquarters automation and security guidelines.
Standard working hours are between 6:30 am and 6:00 pm Monday – Friday.
DoD Top Secret Security Clearance (current)
The Information Technology Operations Division (ITOD) provides automation services supporting FBI entities and other federal agencies.
ITOD is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining administrative, investigative and law enforcement automated applications.
Qualified candidates will provide technical services to support and assist the existing ITOD technical staff.
A broad range of IT support activities are required, including developing reports, coding complex search and response programs, testing online software, creating Job Control Language (JCL) in support
of special requests, reviewing condition codes daily for batch report job streams, designing database elements and providing client support when necessary.
Responsible for Enterprise Architecture management, planning, operations and maintenance of hardware located in the data centers, including servicing of legacy equipment at the enterprise server, storage, network and communications levels;
as well as micro-computer and mid-range server devices addressing separately operated applications, and requirements to operate, maintain and monitor these devices.
