Confirmed. IIS7 is part of Windows Server 2008 and Vista (SP1 will be updated to be the same as Windows Server 2008's). This is partially for marketing reasons, (IIS 7 is one of the compelling reasons to upgrade to w2k8) but there are some hooks into Windows
Server 2008 on features that didn't exist in w2k3.

You will need the new server OS I do believe.
