Using asp .net 2.0 VB, I am building a user control that has a hyperlink control inside of it.
I am adding several events to that control.
For this sample I added the events at the same time within the usercontrol.
I am trying to fire off multiple events and as a test I added:
Each event works individual but if I define both Only OnMouseDown fires off and not the onclick.
How do I wire it up so that once one event finishes, the other will fire off if it is there.
They are independant of each other and do not reference each other.
If I should be using other events thats fine, I just need to have 2 different ones because they will actually be added to the control in different places and at different times.
Any help is appreciated, Thanks!!!

You can try

I've tried the suggestion and I also tried it in the form of:
where xxx is the clientid name of the control.
Neither solution worked.
I can get 1 event to fire but not the other.
If OnMouseDown is fired, shouldn't OnMouseUp be firing for the same control along with onclick for that matter?
I've been trying to find some answer on firing multiple events for the same control with no luck.

I'm not sure what happened, but if you want to trigger a click event you should call element.click() instead of element.onclick().
I tested it myselft and the two event handlers were called one after the other.
