I have been looking at customizing my Personal Starter Kit with a couple of new themes. I am currently using the Personal Starter Kit that was extended by Jeremy Wadsworth. I went to
www.StyleShout.com and got two new CSS themes. Now I'm trying to figure out how to convert my CSS I have to a workable PSK theme. Can anyone give me some insight into what everthing is in the Default masterpage and
everything. I am going to be posting two examples using the plain CSS code at
http://qwertytech.no-ip.biz/test2/index.html . Please check these sites later tonight to see my examples. I will greatly appreciate any help that anyone can give me wether it's code examples or just anything.

The OOTB (out of the box) personal website has some design limitations for instance the primary navigation. You can get pretty close to one of those designs.
I will be glad to help you if you tell me which design you want. Otherwise, I would start by replacing the HTML in the masterpage with the HTML from your template. Additionally adding the CSS from your template into the CSS file from the personal website.
I wouldn't try to use the existing HTML and CSS and edit them to make them work with the new style.
Checkout my site: www.sevenux.com (hit refresh if you get the error - I have a post out trying to fix it now).

Thanks for the response. I have actually decided to not use anything like the PST (Personal Starter Kit) or DNN (DotNetNuke) kits. I just recently viewed a site that I was really impressed with and I'm thinking I like the way he layed everything out,
check it out
here. I've been looking at how he created his see-thru windows and I'm almost completely done with that part. My biggest thing is having like a "BLOG". I like alot of things that PST has. I like the ADMIN side. I would like how to create my own ADMIN
side. If you use AIM you can most likely find me on under the name TheShirey or YAHOO! as
email@example.com . I would appreciate any help you could give me.

No problem... The site you sent me to, he's using a fixed background image and opacity all controlled via the CSS and .png's with alpha channels. East stuff [;)] Let me know if I can help..

What would be the best thing to start with? Content layout or Themes? I would like to possibly start with my ADMIN side. Is that a bad place to start? How do I go about this?
