I have a web application which works with mobile devices, and I need to obtain the ID of each device that uses the web application.
How can I get this ID code?.
Thanks in advance.

You can get the I.P. address of the request device and also its user agent. Would this be adequate?

Hi, and thanks for your reply
I'm not exactly needing the client IP address. As far as I know, mobile devices (as pda's, phones etc..) connect to network using a 'ID' code, besides the IP address. This 'ID' may be something similar to the MAC address in a desktop or a laptop computers
(certainly i'm far from a mobile devices expert).
... but, by I could looked up.. obtaining the client MAC address is not possible, so I'm afraid neither a mobile device 'ID' code.
Thanks at any rate.

Depending on some of the networks for mobile phones, they may inject the MSISDN header which is generally used for the mobile number
