I have created a web site that displays data from an Access table based on queries the user makes. The database is about 4MB. I would like to find a host for this site so that I can sign up for google AdSense.
Any suggestions on best hosting options? I czeched out GoDaddy, but it looks like they expect MySQL tables, not Access...

Access is supported by almost all hosting providers.
Do not forget to set properly your security access file permissions.

Are you referring to what's available at Tools | Security | User and Group [Accounts,Permissions] menu items?
What do I need to do to set that up so users can't modify the contents of the database?

You should create a directory for your data file. It's much better not to be in your web root if you have full server access, if not it should be created with special permission. It should allow data to be written to a file in this directory (the user account
should have modify permissions). This directory should also be protected from outside read access on the server level to prevent unauthorized download of your database. If you use shared hosting, most hosting providers will set such a directory for you.
