Is it possible to hide the albums until after a title has been created. I would like to simplify the look of that page so there is only the text input boxes. Once the user clicks the add button, then
the albums would appear

Can you be a little more detailed? I am having a hard time understanding exactly what you are trying to do. Hiding and the later showing stuff can be done pretty easily, just let us know =)

What I have done is created a duplicate Admin/Albums.aspx page for user to upload their pictures. Ultimately I want the user to
only see the album they are creating. I thought the best way to do this was to hide the grideview that has the albums in it and when the user clicks the "ADD" button, the gridview would appear.
Another way i tried to accomplish this was creating a second page that contains the albums and use the "ADD" button to postback to that page. But when i do that, the new folder doesn't get created.
thanks for your help

I think I have it. I set the gridview that holds the albums to "Visable = False" from the property window. Then in the code behind I set Click Event for the "Add" button to Gridview.Visible = True
Now all I have to do is write a stored procedure that dispalys only the newest Album.

I actually did something similar, but I used another table in the database to assign usernames to albumid's then I wrote another function in the photomanager called get useralbums. From there is queries the useralbums database and forms a list of albumid's,
then it queries the albums database in the same manner as the getalbums function. The only difference is that on each read it only adds the album to the list if the album number is in the list.
