This is the scenario. A Development Server with IIS 5.0 and .NET 2.0 framework with a web application with frontpage server extensions.
On the other hand, I have VS 2005 on my PC where I loaded the web project using remote site. Well, after development is ready I need to publish the site on a Production Server. To do this, I clicked "publish" option. When a dialog box appeared, I entered
the URL of the target site (in the form of http://productionserver). I checked "Allow this precompiled site to be updatable" and clicked OK.
After build has been carried out and the pages were copied to the Production Server, I realized that some folders were missing.
When I copied the web application to my local web server, and then published, all went well.
Can you explain me why when I develop remotely, some folders aren't copied to the target location? how can I solve it?
Thanks a lot in advance
