What is the procedure for relocating a solution with its projects from one folder to another on the same server.
I created a Web applicaiton in IIS called "AllMyIntranetApps\WebAppA".
I have another Web applicaiton in IIS called "AllMyIntranetApps\WebAppB".
I want to relocate my solution in Visual Studio 2003 from WebAppA to WebAppB on the same Server..
Note that neither Web application is at the root (i.e. http:\\Localhost\WebAppA), that is the Virtual Directories are not at the root of the Server.
How is this done.

After changing the virtual directory for a web solution/project, we should modify the "*.sln" file and the "*. webinfo" file for Visual Studio 2003 can open the solution/project correctly. Actually I have replied the similar issue before, please check my
answer in the following thread.

Thank you for responding to my dilemma.
I have attempted to do exactly as you directed. However, my Virtual Directory is not at the root of the default web site. I am attempting to connect to another Web site in IIS 6 on the Windows 2003 Server that is called "Intranet2" at the path Hearts\Clubs.
So my IIS looks like this:
- Web Sites
+ Default Web Site (Stopped)
The error I get states "Unable to create Web project 'https://Intranet2/Hearts/Clubs'. The UNC share '\\Intranet2\wwwroot$\Hearts\Clubs' does not exist or you do not have access. I have Admin rights on the server and I gave myself Ful Control on the folders
that hold my source and executables.
I should note that "Clubs" is a Directory and not a Virtual Directory in IIS (what is the difference?)
Any thoughts on this environment? And what is with the 'wwwroot$' in the UNC share?
