Some of the images I am using in a multilanguage site have text, and I need to localize the ImageUrl property.
What do you consider the best way to do this?

ResX files can contain image resources. What localization technology do you use?

I use an application to localize resources in a DB. The idea I have is to add the ImageUrl property as a resource in the DB, but it must be done manually, making the design phase a little tedious. I tried with themes also but it is more complicated and
difficult to manage. I would like to know other approaches.

Can you explain why are you using a DB to store resources instead of resource files? Do you have different content for each supported culture to be shown or you just try to localize UI?

We decided this as the most viable option because the site has many pages, the content of the pages can be updated regularly and the application to manage the resources, that manages not only the resources, resides in another server.
