When I put a breakpoint to see how many tables or rows available in a Dataset, VS.Net 2003 is not showing me the Items collection rather it shows " Item <cannot view indexed property> System.Data.DataTable"
I searched in the net and it seems to be not available in VS.Net 2003, Is it so? Or anyway to show the values?

That is strange. VS2003 should allow you to inspect the DataSet.
Is the dataset null?
Add a break point just after where your dataset gets filled/initialised with data.
Add the dataset instance to your watch list, you should be able to expand it and find a DataTables node which you can expand if there is a DataTable and if you expand the DataTable you should get DataRows.

see how many tables or rows available in a Dataset,
Assume you have a dataset named “DataSet1”. If you want to know how many tables and rows in it, you can input the following in the watch window (Debug | Windows | Watch | Watch 1).
