We have setup 2 OAB servers for HMC 4.0, OAB01 and OAB02.
Our customers have been spread across both of these servers as their "Generation Server" in Exchange. I would like to move everybody off OAB02 and put them on OAB01. I assume if I use Exchange and simply move it, its likely to cause issues with MPS. However,
I do not see any MPS command to reassign the generation server? Is there a safe method to accomplish this?
Thanks in advance!

I'm not sure, but probably, by declaring server as "inprovisinoble" (procedure Exchange 2007 OAB Resource Manager::ModifyResources, paremeter <servers/ server/ provisionable>) on step #1 you can tell OAB RM to stop provision new OAB on OAB02 and then skip

Thanks, works like a charm.
In another thread it was mentioned OAB may stick around in public folders for 7 days, so I assume its best practice to create a new one with a different name.

Actually, if you are going to create OAB on different server, then you can use the same name.
In case of the same server, you can try to remove OAB Version 2, OAB Version 3, and OAB Version 4 folders associated with deleted OAB before attempt to create new OAB.
