My web site runs very good withe ie6 and ie7 but it is terrible with FireFox? Is there someone who had the same problem and find a solution for it?

You'll have to provide more information if you want a good response.

There are several different solutions to fix it. The problem lies in how IE6, IE7, FireFox and other browsers implement the CSS standards. There are books and web sites that demonstrate the difference between the browsers.
Look at the CSSReset project at developer.yahoo.com.

I got around the formating problem by using html to set my layout, and not the css file.
And my technique worked great, see for yourself

And my technique worked great,
Apart from the fact that there are multiple
validation errors (which means each different browser is guessing at what your code means), the exta html you've included makes the page bigger so that it takes
longer to download and
harder to maintain in the future. If you ever decide to
redesign the site, it will take much longer to do as you will have to remove all of the html from each individual page rather than changing one simple css file.
Whilst the site may look the same in the three browsers mentioned, you've actually done the complete opposite of what is recommended in terms of how to develop and maintain a website.

Thank you for pointing out the validation errors, I've been meaning to find a code validator, it was pretty easy to fix the errors.
And I use master pages, so If I redesign, I change a few pages to get them all to update, really very easy..
And not nearly as many problems as .css,
And I'm not sure if it was a coincidence or not,
but when doing a fresh load of the application with the css setting the layout versus without .css setting the layout, without seems to load faster.
So I'm sticking with .css for establishing background images in the td, and font color and size, no layout info.
But I really do appreciate you pointing out the validation errors.
