I am trying to write a simple custom composit control so that i can know how these controls work ?what are the methods and classes that we need to inherit?, how and when it create the ll for the controls ?.....I google different articles but couldnt find
anything basic and upto the point...Could someone help me to write a simple composit control (having couple of text boxes and buutons)? or pass me any link will be greate.

Writing custom controls is not simple. I highly recommend you learn how, just don't expect to find an internet article or two that "explains it all".
(Or if you do, post it here!!!! :) ) Many of the internet articles that I found showed partially correct examples that worked fine under specific circumstances, but would not work "like a regular control ought to". For example, post-back handling was
often poorly implemented.
I've bought every book on the subject that I could find, plus those with lengthy chapters on it, plus scoured the internet, plus this forum.
Even with all that, much of what I've learned has been through trial and error.
