My CSSFriendly menu is not friendly to me, it is displayed much wider on the page compare to a reqular menu control (of course, because it generates HTML tables not UL's!).
Menu Length = [LI Element Width] * [Number of LI's, that is Options/Sub-Menus],
which means that the widest menu option title will be multiplied by the total number of menu options.
So, for example, this menu "Centers Vendors Departments Reports Users Help Log Out", becomes as wide as the LI width to accomodate the widest word "Departments" multiplied here by 7.
Any suggestions on how to keep individual menu option width defined by its title width, will be greatly appreciated.

It makes me sad to think that the menu adapter isn't being friendly to you. (ha ha)
Actually, making proportional menus is possible. Take a look at
http://forums.asp.net/p/1137671/1828632.aspx#1828632. It isn't a whole solution but it will get you started. If you have trouble (which you may because, as I said, the posting I mentioned isn't quite the whole solution) write back and I'll try to get you
past the final hiccups.
And try to be of good cheer...
