Hi - I am able to run Visual Studio 2003 successfully on Windows Vista by following all the instructions on IIS.NET and
All the required ApplicationPool settings in IIS7 has been done and ASP.NET 1.1 runs without any issues.
Also when I create a new project is VS2003 it creates successfully and I am able to compile and debug without any issues, my only
problem is that when I am trying to debug (btw compiles fine) an existing project in VS 2003 (ASP.NET 1.1) I am not able to debug and it gives me an Error stating;
Unable to start debugging. The project is not configured to be debugged.
I also checked my Web.Config file to make sure if I have
debug = true, and it does!
Btw, all of the above runs as an Administrator so the issue of UAC doesn't come in focus in Vista.
Could anyone please help me why when I create a new VS2003 (ASP.NET 1.1) project the Debug works fine and it doesnot with already existing project which I had in Windows XP intially?
Please advice. :)
