Assuming IIS6, when your code is run and hits a resource across the network, it will run as either your app pool identity user (NETWORK SERVICE by default) or your anonymous user account (IUSR_Machinename by default).
It's wise to change those to custom users so that you are controlling the exact access. Depending on some other factors, it will be one or the other. (most commonly the app pool user) The NETWORK SERVICE user will be seen across the network as your computer
